EDISON, N.J., April 24, 2013 — Horiba Scientific’s XploRA One Raman microscope offers “one shot” spectral analysis and programmable measurement templates for quality assurance/quality control chemists and analytical scientists.

The instrument provides an easy-to-use configuration and user interface, powered by the company’s LabSpec 6 software suite. The interface enables a logical experiment work flow, from sample acquisition and visualization to measurement setup to data interpretation and final reports.

Spectral databases are included for interpretation of results. Laser options are integrated internally (532- or 785-nm high brightness) for optimized submicron-resolved measurements.

Applications include polymers, pharmaceuticals, carbon nanotubes and coatings, graphene, semiconductors, and geological and forensic samples.
