WATERLOO, Ontario, Canada, Oct. 22, 2014 — Designed for high-speed, high-bandwidth cameras, the Xtium-CLHS PX4 frame grabber from Teledyne DALSA has up to seven CLHS data lanes to capture aggregate data rates of 2.1 GB/s.

The device is a PCIe Gen 2 frame grabber, fully backwards compatible with PCIe x4 slots. It also utilizes seamless multiboard synchronization to distribute images across multiple boards for faster processing.

Applications include machine vision OEM and integration into flat panel, electronics and semiconductor inspection systems, among others.
