Single- and Dual-Clad Ytterbium Doped FibersSingle- and Dual-Clad Ytterbium (Yb)-Doped Fibers from iXblue are designed for 1-μm-fiber manufacturers.

The IXF-YDF-6-125 single-clad Yb fiber features a 6-μm core and a 125-μm cladding diameter. The doping level has been increased by a factor of three, reaching 75 dB/m core absorption at 915 nm. This fiber is ideal for minimizing path length in femtosecond fiber lasers or preamplifiers.

The IXF-2CF-YB-O-20-130 dual-clad Yb fiber features a 20-μm core and a 130-μm cladding diameter. The fiber features a 0.08 numerical aperture and was developed for integration into high-power industrial amplifiers and high-peak-power laser applications that require high beam quality.
