Ytterbium Femtosecond LasersThe YLMO Mid-IR and YLMO 520 lasers from Menlo Systems GmbH are compact ytterbium femtosecond devices.

The YLMO Mid-IR delivers femtosecond pulses with tunable spectrum in the 3- to 5-µm wavelength range. The wavelength tuning is performed in a fully automated manner via control software. With average power levels >100 mW and pulse durations down to 140 fs, it supports broadband spectroscopy applications and time-resolved measurements.

The YLMO 520 delivers ultrashort pulses at 520 nm with >500-mW average output power and <150-fs duration. The system ensures access to the 1040-nm range with adjustable splitting ratio of optical power between the two wavelength channels. It enables flexible dual-color and time-resolved measurements. Applications include multiphoton excitation, pump-probe spectroscopy, and two-photon polymerization.
