Lumencor’s ZIVA light engine^®, includes seven, independently operable lasers and high performance electronics to deliver superior optical power, stability, and reproducibility. Outputs are optimized to couple into a narrow bore fiber (≤200 µm) generating ultrahigh radiance. Light output readily connects to microscopes and other bioanalytical instruments via an SMA-terminated optical fiber.

ZIVA’s control is implemented in several image acquisition software packages where TTL triggers fast, 100 microsecond, switching. Optical power is actively stabilized providing superior reproducibility, overall data quality, and quantitation. Ziva’s lasers, allied with sophisticated control and monitoring systems, support various super resolution microscopy techniques.
