Navitar.jpgNavitar Inc. has introduced the Zoom Xtender for its high-magnification 6000 and 12× zoom lens systems. The Xtender has a working distance of 150 mm to infinity. When added to the systems, it extends their reach but maintains the internal focus and parfocal zooming, and it allows the user to keep the computer-controlled motorization and detents. Customers can configure a zoom system with an extended reach and larger field of view by using the company’s interactive Xtender field of view calculator or the optical wizard, both available online.
