Zoom CameraThe 24P2.0XW-EXSDI camera from Videology Imaging Solutions Inc. uses its graphical user interface to send VISCA commands over RS-485 to control camera functions.

The camera points to a subject and zooms in on the area of interest. Users select the size and location of the scene for magnification with the pointer overlay. Optical zoom equivalency is achieved to 2.7× magnification as you reduce from a 2-MP resolution image down to full- screen VGA resolution. Display provides either a 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio. The camera can deliver digital zoom to an additional 33×.

With no moving parts, the small rugged 24P camera can survive five to seven years, regardless of number of zooms.
