BELFAST, Ireland, July 21, 2022 — sCMOS SensorThe Marana-X-11 platform for fast soft x-ray, extreme UV tomography and high harmonic generation imaging from Andor Technology Ltd. is a sCMOS sensor optimized for the 80- to 1,000-eV range.

With high quantum efficiency and a noise floor at fast acquisition rates, dynamic photon-starved applications are enabled. It combines a high-resolution, back-illuminated, uncoated 4.2-MP sensor with a large 32-mm diagonal field of view featuring 11 µm pixels and 48 fps. Its electronic shutter, combined with a USB3 or robust long-distance CoaXPress data interface, enables easy integration into a broad range of vacuum-based, high-energy, experimental setups.
