COMPACT UV LAMPS
Aug 1, 2000 — Spectronics Corp.'s high-intensity UV lamps for nondestructive testing feature 0.8-kg heads that measure 14 x 20 cm at their widest. The Spectroline C-100 and SSC-100 deliver 4000 µW/cm2 of UV irradiance at 15 in. They have visible light emission of <2 fc and produce 100 W of 365-nm output. The solid-state SSC-100 can be powered by a standard AC line or an inverter and 12-V battery. The C-100 is powered by a magnetic ballast.
