Verdi G-Series
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Dec. 15, 2009 – Coherent Inc. has launched the next generation of diode-pumped solid-state continuous-wave lasers. The Verdi G-Series is available in both 2- and 5-W green (532 nm) versions. By replacing the conventional gain medium with an optically pumped semiconductor structure, the company has made a more robust, wavelength-flexible and compact source suited for scientific applications, including pumping of ultrafast and continuous-wave Ti:sapphire lasers. The devices have a 50% smaller footprint than...
