WALTHAM, Mass., March 11, 2016 — Excelitas Technologies Corp. has announced Qioptiq’s Linos Double BBO High-Repetition Pockels Cells (DBBPC HR), specifically designed for fast Q-switching as required in regenerative amplifiers of pulse pickers. Two crystals are featured in an optical series to enable a 1.3-MHz switching rate. Standard specifications include apertures of 2.7 or 3.2 mm, a wavelength of 1030 nm and 98 percent transmittance.
