Laser Diode Dummy Load
ST. LOUIS, Nov. 6, 2015 — Portable Power Systems Inc. has announced the Dual Cool Laser Diode Dummy Load to simulate a laser diode, bar or array. The device tests the laser diode driver before being connected to the laser. A similar capacitance and inductance can be used to set up the user's equipment before installation. The loads outperform a resistive load, simulating an actual laser with a resistive load voltage that changes dramatically with current. A fan- or water-cooled base can be used.
