BERLIN, June 24, 2015 — Offering ultrashort pulse widths optimized for microscopy applications, the VisIR-765 STED (pictured) and VisUV lasers from PicoQuant GmbH are based on a master oscillator fiber amplifier concept with frequency conversion. The VisIR-765 STED delivers optical output power up to 1.5 W at 766 nm with a laser pulse width of 500 ps. The VisUV can generate light at 266, 355 or 532 nm.
