MARBURG, Germany, March 3, 2008 -- Sacher Lasertechnik GmbH said it offers a cavity frequency doubler (second-harmonic generation) for its established series of tunable diode-laser systems, such as Jaguar. The frequency doubler allows for experimental accessing of spectroscopically important wavelengths in the visible and ultraviolet (UV) spectral regions which can otherwise not be accessed with diode lasers, Sacher said.
