VILNIUS, Lithuania, Jan. 7, 2013 — Ekspla has announced a line of diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) Q-switched Nd:YAG lasers. The NL230 lasers produce pulse energies up to 50 mJ at 100 Hz or up to 140 mJ at a 30-Hz pulse repetition rate. Diode pumping allows maintenance-free laser cavity operation for more than three years at eight working hours per day. The typical pump diode lifetime is more than 1 billion shots.
