Gold Nanoparticles Go Green
COLUMBIA, Mo., Sept. 29, 2008 – Until recently, creating gold nanoparticles has produced synthetic chemicals that have a negative impact on the environment. However, according to scientists at the University of Missouri – Columbia, they have discovered a method that not only eliminates toxins, but has also resulted in national and international recognition for the project's lead scientist.
