Finnish Border Guard Orders Imaging Systems from L-3 Communications
FARNBOROUGH, England, July 15, 2016 — The Wescam division of imaging system developer L-3 Communications Holdings has received an order from the Finnish Border Guard to provide MX-15 electro-optical and IR imaging systems for installation on Airbus H215 twin-engine helicopters. The newly equipped H215s will support a variety of missions across Finland, including maritime border patrol and search and rescue. System deliveries to Airbus for installation will be completed by June of 2017.
