Consortium Funds Biomedical Lasers
DUNDEE, UK -- A European consortium led by the University of Dundee and including Toptica Photonics AG of Munich and Time Bandwidth Products AG of Zurich has been granted €10.1 million by the European Commission for a four-year project to develop biomedical lasers. The group, under the acronym FAST-DOT, will work to create smaller, more energy-efficient lasers for use in microscopy and nanosurgery.
