Q-SWITCHED LASER
Sep 1, 1998 — Continuum's industrial and OEM Q-switched Nd:YAG laser is suited for marking, ablation, lidar, ranging and particle imaging velocimetry applications. It produces 200 mJ per pulse at 1064 nm and operates at repetition rates up to 30 Hz. The XL-200's laser cavity uses a negative branch and folded resonator design. The 3 x 4 x 12-in. resonator is packaged in a compact sealed housing for operation in harsh environments. An optional harmonic conversion to 266, 355 and 532 nm is available.
