Tue, Nov 14, 2017 12:00P EST

ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
No laser user wishes to hurt themselves or others, or damage expensive equipment. Nevertheless, accidents do happen. Learn the steps to ensuring the safe use of lasers in your work environment, and prevent costly, dangerous accidents from taking place.

This webinar will explain the most important elements of laser safety and provide practical advice on how to implement a laser safety program in a research, academic and/or product development laboratory setting. Ken Barat, Laser Safety Consultant.Presenter Ken Barat, a laser safety consultant and long-standing expert in the field, will present a number of lessons he has learned on lab design for a safe environment and laser accident prevention. He will also address common misconceptions about laser safety, before opening the floor to questions from attendees.

Who should attend: Technicians, engineers and others who work with lasers or are responsible for laser safety in their work environment. Anyone who wants to learn correct procedures for laser safety and physical control measures in case of an accident will benefit from attending this webinar.
