About This Webinar
Konstantin Birngruber and Max Eisele introduce TOPTICA's next-generation laser technology by highlighting multicolor light engines for standard fluorescence microscopy, as well as TOPTICA's high-power fiber laser series for advanced two-photon fluorescence microscopy. They address novel and important key features, as well as TOPTICA's fully integrated laser design. These systems enable researchers to strongly reduce the complexity in their experimental setups, and they help scientists to obtain the best possible imaging results with their microscopes. Learn about the latest features of TOPTICA's dedicated laser engines and how the systems simplify research in fluorescence microscopy.

About Konstantin Birngruber:
Konstantin BirngruberKonstantin Birngruber is product manager for OEM Diode Lasers at TOPTICA Photonics AG. He received an engineering diploma in physics from the Munich University of Applied Sciences. Birngruber started his career as an R&D engineer for excimer lasers at TuiLaser in 1997 and was subsequently appointed product manager for medical excimer lasers in 1997. From 2005 on, he acted as segment manager for medical excimer lasers at Coherent Inc. He joined TOPTICA Photonics in 2011. In his current role, Birngruber provides scientist and OEM partners with robust and reliable laser solutions for fluorescence microscopy.

About Max Eisele:

Max EiseleMax Eisele, Ph.D., is product manager for ultrafast fiber lasers at TOPTICA Photonics AG. He joined TOPTICA in 2018 with more than 10 years of hands-on experience in high-end microscopy applications and related technology in both academia and industry. Being intrigued by the potential of fluorescence microscopy in neuroscience and in vivo imaging, Eisele is now working on providing scientists and OEM partners in the field of biophotonics with fully tailored, turnkey, and convenient light sources for next-generation multiphoton microscopy.

About the sponsor:

TOPTICA develops and manufactures high-end laser systems for scientific and industrial applications. The portfolio includes diode lasers, ultrafast fiber lasers, terahertz systems, and frequency combs. OEM customers, scientists, and over a dozen Nobel laureates all acknowledge the world-class exceptional specifications of TOPTICA's lasers, as well as their reliability and longevity.

Founded in 1998 near Munich in Germany, TOPTICA became one of the leading laser photonics companies by aiming for and consistently delivering high-end specifications. TOPTICA's diode lasers are appreciated for excellent coherence, wide tuning range, and ideal beam profiles.
