About This Webinar
This webinar will discuss how the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is advancing machine vision. Presenter Tom Brennan will discuss the enabling technologies in IIoT, including embedded computing devices, cloud computing, cameras and smart cameras, software, artificial intelligence, and more. Additionally, he will discuss how IIoT has the potential to improve productivity, reduce waste and downtime, optimize manufacturing processes, and improve machine vision applications.

About the presenter:
Tom Brennan, President, Artemis VisionTom Brennan is an AIA Advanced Level Certified Vision Professional and president of Artemis Vision, a machine vision solution provider that utilizes industry-leading hardware and software engineering to optimize processes. He has successfully delivered numerous industrial machine vision systems as well as medical imaging systems. Brennan got his start in vision by designing machine vision vehicle detection algorithms implemented as part of the DARPA Urban Challenge for American autonomous vehicles. He holds a BSE in computer science from Princeton University.

Who should attend:
Technical professionals who are interested in the use of IIoT technologies to enable, advance, and protect industrial and machine vision processes. Industrial technical professionals who are interested in deep learning for machine vision and in how deep learning can enhance machine vision systems.
