About This Webinar
IoT (Internet of Things) applications require smart sensors with dedicated on-board functionalities. To address this prerequisite, component manufacturers are rolling out new sensor designs to multiple market segments. In this session you will learn about one design in particular, AT - Automation Technology GmbH’s IRSX smart infrared camera, and why it is a unique, stand-alone solution applicable in various machine vision use cases.

The IRSX allows direct connectivity to PLC and other input/output devices, such as Modbus and OPC-UA, key to smooth and easy implementation in a working environment. Built with a rugged IP67 design, the IRSX also ensures reliability in various conditions, and was specifically developed for industrial use. Additionally, these sensors are equipped for nondestructive testing, in which AT is a global leader. Adding to AT’s portfolio of reliable and effective NDT solutions, the IRSX addresses the consistent need for thermal infrared capabilities.

In terms of 3D image sensor technology, measurement tasks increasingly require increased frequency, accuracy, and sensor flexibility. To meet the industry’s need for configurable 3D profile sensors, AT has developed a modular compact series (MCS). In a modular design, configurations for diverse applications can be created quickly and easily, allowing customers a shorter time to market.

Best performance and reliable detection of faults can be assured only by dedicated cameras, optics, heat sources, and excitation controllers. Learn how AT sensor designs are meeting these demands and enabling failure test analysis at the highest level.

Who should attend:
R&D scientists, engineers, T&M professionals, QC specialists, and others working with sensors and detectors for IoT applications, including industrial manufacturing and processing, aerospace, agriculture, and oil and gas. This webinar will be especially relevant to end users and integrators responsible for key technology selection, including sensor designs.

About the presenter:
Guido Deutz has been working in the image processing industry for more than 20 years. Having played a key role in driving the success of well-known companies such as FLIR, LumaSense, and Xenics as business development and sales manager, the engineering graduate has been business development director for AT - Automation Technology GmbH since March 2021. At AT, his primary role is to further expand the business network in North America.

Cristian Ferber is Senior Business Development and Key Account Manager at AT – Automation Technology GmbH. He has been working at AT for 13 years and is an expert in the field of nondestructive testing (NDT). Before he joined AT in 2008, he worked as an electrical engineer on numerous research projects with a focus on thermography. From this experience, he brought to his sales managerial duties the ability to discern which NDT solution is best for customer inquiries and, additionally, has built up a large international NDT network.
