About This Webinar
Machine vision applications have expanded rapidly beyond the controlled environments of the factory, and with this expansion, the need for ruggedized lens designs has grown, with the requirements becoming more diverse and nuanced. To meet the market's imaging challenges, optical designs for ruggedized lenses must at least meet the basic demands of optical stability and should also address the impact of potentially harsh environments on optical performance.

Jason Baechler explains the typical design steps taken to ensure image quality and mechanical integrity, and he provides insights into the potential trade-offs for systems integrators working to optimize system performance via their lens choices.
