The white paper presents HERA, a novel hyperspectral camera, and a series of results obtained in different applications (agri-tech & food, plastic sorting, remote sensing, and microscopy). The HERA hyperspectral cameras, designed by NIREOS (Italy), are based on a Fourier-Transform approach, which provides high sensitivity, a software-adjustable spectral resolution, an excellent spatial resolution, and no spatial distortions nor aberrations. The white paper explains the working principle and the advantages of the technology, as well as a description of real use cases.
