Unseen Possibilities of F-Theta Lenses

F-theta lenses are important compo-nents of machines for laser material processing. They are the part which enables cutting steel by focusing the laser beam. For even machining sur-faces, a couple of lenses are necessary, because the curved image plane of a single lens would create a high un-wanted field curvature. The field cur-vature decreases the homogeneity of the spot size depending on its position which is necessary for high precision laser material processing.
