Breakthroughs in True-Color Holography Are Unveiled
Lake Forest College in Illinois hosted the Sixth International Symposium of Display Holography, where a mass production method and applications for true full-color holograms were introduced. Using a photopolymer developed by DuPont Corp. and tested by Lake Forest Professor Tung H. Jeong, unlimited copies of a master hologram were produced. The new laser-generated images allow holograms to be made more cheaply, bigger and faster.
