KANATA, Ontario, April 16 -- GSI Lumonics Inc. has received an order for M430 WaferRepair Systems from Elpida Memory Inc., a semiconductor manufacturer in Japan. Elpida selected the M430 to meet its 300 mm production requirements. The first system will be installed in the third quarter at Elpida's main factory in Hiroshima. The remaining systems will be installed in the second half of 2002.
