John Denzel has been promoted to president and COO of Ultratech Inc., a San Jose, Calif.-based maker of photolithography equipment used in the fabrication of semiconductor and nanotechnology devices. Denzel joined Ultratech in 1996 as vice president of manufacturing and was most recently executive vice president of operations.
