Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging Inc. and Kereos Inc. have entered into agreements to develop and commercialize novel molecular imaging agents to detect cardiovascular diseases and cancer. Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging has obtained exclusive worldwide rights to develop and commercialize select cardiovascular molecular imaging agents for magnetic resonance imaging, and Kereos, based in St. Louis, Mo., has obtained rights to use Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging's targeting molecules with its core technology to develop molecular cancer imaging agents and targeted therapeutics. Financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed.   . . .   Bruker Daltonics, a Billerica, Mass., manufacturer of mass spectrometry instruments and of nuclear, biological and chemical detection systems, has announced a $2 million contract award from the US Army for multiple commercial Hawk systems for delivery by the end of this year. The Army is purchasing the systems for testing and evaluation in 2005. Hawk is an air defense system comprised of missiles, launchers, sensors and command and control elements. It has been continuously upgraded and modified over the past 3 1/2 decades.   . . .   Gareth Ingram has been named vice president and general manager of application-specific contracts, Digital Imaging, at Waterloo, Ontario-based semiconductor and electronics company Dalsa Corp., and Jim Roberts has been promoted to executive vice president. The company also announced it is relocating its Tucson, Ariz., operations to Colorado Springs, Colo., in the next five months, to combine its North American imaging operations, in Waterloo and Colorado Springs, into one management team, to be led by Roberts. Selected staff from the Tucson operation will be transferred to Colorado Springs, where the company will procure a larger facility for its expanded operations. Dalso said its life sciences products will continue to be produced at the new location. Hugh Garvey, vice president and general manager, Life Sciences, has been named vice president, business development for image sensor products within Digital Imaging.
