Cree Inc. of Durham, N.C., has entered into a patent cross-license agreement with Nichia Corp. of Tokushima, Japan, involving LED technology for solid-state white lighting. The agreement complements a cross-license arrangement made between the companies in 2002. Details were not disclosed.
