In Virginia, Kitco Fiber Optics of Virginia Beach has received a five-year contract from Northrop Grumman in Newport News to provide training in shipboard fiber optics to the latter company’s employees, thereby extending their partnership of several years. Northrop Grumman installs fiber optics on ships for the US Navy, while Kitco provides installation training.
