Sandia and Aerospace Collaborate

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, N.M., has signed a memorandum of understanding with The Aerospace Corp. of El Segundo, Calif., as part of an agreement to identify scientific areas for interactive research and development. Sandia will identify uses of its hypervelocity impact modeling capability and its potential use for intercept debris characterization, while Aerospace will provide space architectural systems engineering support to these activities.
