Sharp Electronics Corp., a global company, will build an LCD screen manufacturing facility in Torun, Poland. The screens will be exported to the company’s LCD television manufacturing facilities in Spain and Germany. The €44 million facility will employ 800 people. The company anticipates that production will begin in January 2007.
