Ocean Optics Opens China Office to Serve the Pacific Rim

To better serve the needs of the rapidly expanding Asian market, Ocean Optics of Dunedin, Fla., announced it has established Ocean Optics Asia in Shanghai, China. EOShengaoBuilding.jpg The address is 137 Xianxia Rd., Suite 1801, Changning District, Shanghai 200051 PRC, China.

Ocean Optics Asia will provide local product sales and support for the company’s optical sensing, display optics and biophotonics technologies. Headed by Director of Asia Operations Ling Sun, the new office will enable the company to quickly respond to and support its distributors and customers with a staff of application, sales and software engineers, Ocean Optics said. The company’s complete product line, including miniature optic fiber spectrometers, optical sensors, fibers, probes, thin films and optics, will be available. In addition to technical support, the office offers a complete product demonstration line and a comprehensive application database, as well as locally based warranty services and training opportunities.
