PRECISION BORESCOPES
The Hawkeye series borescopes are detailed in Vol. V of Gradient Lens Corp.’s catalog. The 24-page publication presents the new Pro Precision rigid types and the Pro MicroFlex varieties, with semirigid and flexible scopes as small as 0.9 mm in diameter. It covers the Classic Slim and Hardy kits and the Blue flexibles as well as the Blue swing- and fixed prism types. Hawkeye and Luxxor light sources and the Luxxor digital and video camera systems also are specified, along with accessories, such as an angled eyepiece and a video coupler lens. Using charts and diagrams, a section on how to choose a borescope discusses direction of view, field of view and the endoGrin gradient index relay lens system.
