Optiwave Systems Inc. of Ottawa and Zemax Development Corp. of Bellevue, Wash., have announced their collaboration to create an interface that will allow data exchange between the optical engineering simulation design tools manufactured by each concern. The systems will enable researchers to design lenses, optical waveguides and other devices.
