ADHESIVES GUIDE
Bacon Industries Inc. offers an updated adhesives selection guide that can be viewed and downloaded from its Web site. Featuring adhesives for bonding, potting, sealing, impregnating and coating, the five-page guide lists viscosity, work life, recommended cure times and typical cure properties to reduce the need for trial and error in selecting the appropriate adhesive for an application. The company says that many of the systems meet NASA outgassing requirements, and that the adhesives are individually tested and traceable to raw materials. They are available in two-part kits, or in preweighed, premixed, degassed and frozen syringes.
