STS Closing Office in Germany

Surface Technology Systems (STS), a supplier of plasma etch and deposition technology to the semiconductor industry, today announced it will close its office in Ulm, Germany, and customer service operations will now be coordinated through STS headquarters in Newport, Wales. "We have decided to centralize our European operation to ensure a more rapid direct response to customers. Centralizing the support offered in Europe gives STS three strategic locations for spare parts and service: Taiwan, USA and the United Kingdom. Not only will our customers benefit from this decision but our agents that play an important role in STS will see the benefits throughout the world," said John Saunders, STS CEO.
