BORESCOPE GUIDE
Moritex has released a four-page guide to selecting the appropriate borescope for an application. Designed for engineers and technicians who are involved in the inspection of the internal structures and surfaces of manufactured parts, it discusses borescope technology as well as matters to consider when selecting an instrument, such as access to the area to be inspected, borescope diameter, and the direction of view and its control. It includes application examples from an airplane propeller manufacturer and a defense contractor making automotive transmissions. A diagram showing the gradient index relay versus the Hopkins design is included.
