Beate Sauter has been hired as regional sales manager, southern Europe and the Mediterranean, for Edmund Optics (EO), which has opened an office in Rome, Italy, for that region. Sauter has spent more than 16 years in sales and marketing management, for companies such as Toptica Photonics and Laser 2000. Fluent in many languages, she has helped expand their international presence. Edmund Optics, a Jersey-based provider of optics, imaging and photonics technology, said it plans to open an additional sales office in France this year.
