A hard-coatings technology company, Hauzer Techno Coating BV, has been acquired by the IHI Group of Tokyo, which the companies say will strengthen the latter’s position in the thin-film technology market. The Japanese company develops and builds a wide range of machinery, including thin-film production equipment.
