Peloton Diagnostics’ Linda Smith Selected for Forum

Linda-Smith.jpgLinda Smith, founder of Peloton Diagnostics Corp., has been selected to participate in the inauguration of Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum 2008, Nov. 12-16 in Palm Springs, Calif. This year’s forum, which champions the success for women in business, will feature a keynote address by Jack Welch, former chairman and CEO of General Electric, in addition to several other prominent speakers. As one of five aspiring women entrepreneurs, Smith was selected by a panel of judges to attend the forum, compliments of Ernst & Young, who designed the Winning Women Program for a select group of women whose emerging entrepreneurial ventures offer true promise. The Wellesley, Mass.-based Peloton Diagnostics was founded by Smith at Babson College’s Hatchery in 2006. The company supplies medical diagnostics tools based on optical imaging technologies that promise to advance the practice of preventative and personalized medicine.
