Lightwave Logic Adds Howard Simmons to Tech Team

Lightwave Logic Inc., a Wilmington, Delaware-based developer of electro-optic polymer materials for applications in high speed fiber-optic telecommunications and optical computing, announced that Howard E. Simmons will join the company’s technology team. Simmons brings 25 years experience in organic synthesis and thin film technology, and he joined the Lightwave technical team to enhance the capabilities in organic synthesis and thin film technologies. Previously, Simmons spent 25 years with DuPont engaged in R&D at the corporate and business unit level. He has contributed to programs in organic light emitting diodes (OLEDS), printable electronics, graphic arts, optical recording materials and fundamental polymer research and holds 26 patents.
