PerkinElmer, BioLegend Collaborate

Waltham, Mass.-based PerkinElmer Inc., a company focused on improving the health and safety of people and the environment, has announced an assay development and sample testing collaboration with BioLegend Inc. of San Diego, an immunological reagents developer for the biomedical research industry. Under the terms of the agreement, the latter company will offer immunoassay development and bioanalytical testing based on the former company’s “No Wash” homogenous bead-based AlphaLISA assay technology.

The technology of generating and harnessing light and other forms of radiant energy whose quantum unit is the photon.
