PerkinElmer Inc. of Waltham, Mass., has announced the expansion of its digital x-ray detector fabrication facility in Santa Clara, Calif. The plant manufactures amorphous silicon digital x-ray detector panels for use in cardiovascular imaging, angiography, radiography and radiation oncology. The expansion is scheduled to come online at the end of 2007.
