To develop certain noninvasive technologies, Guided Therapeutics Inc. of Norcross, Ga., and Konica Minolta Opto Inc. of Tokyo have extended an option to license and a no-shop agreement. The companies expect the agreement to be negotiated and signed within six months, when they will begin to adapt the American company’s LightTouch noninvasive cervical cancer detection technology to lung and biliary cancer detection products.
