FEI Co. of Hillsboro, Ore., and Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried, Germany, will collaborate to commercialize a correlative microscopy solution that enables researchers to acquire high-resolution transmission electron microscope images of molecular entities found using optical microscopy techniques. The system, developed by the institute, will be marketed and distributed globally by FEI.
