Leica Microsystems GmbH of Wetzlar, Germany, has completed its acquisitions of Coretech Holdings LLC of St. Louis, a developer of neuroscientific instruments and histopathology, and of Bal-Tec AG of Balzers, Lichtenstein, a provider of sample preservation equipment for scanning electron microscopy. The purchases will increase Leica’s product portfolio in several areas.
