Life Technologies Corp. of Carlsbad, Calif., has signed an agreement to sell its SQL*LIMS business, which provides laboratory information management systems. The business has been purchased by LabVantage Solutions Inc. of Bridgewater, N.J., for an undisclosed amount, and the transaction is expected to close later this year.
